1. UN Oil-For-Food Investigation Standardizes on CaseMap/TimeMap We're proud to report that the Independent Inquiry Committee into the United Nations Oil-for-Food Programme has purchased a CaseMap/TimeMap Enterprise License and is standardizing on our case analysis tools.
In April 2004, United Nations Secretary General
Kofi Annan appointed an independent, high-level inquiry to investigate the

3. Weekly CaseMap/TimeMap Webinars Next Wednesday, October 27 and Thursday, October 28 we'll be holding CaseMap overview webinars that we invite you to attend. In 45 minutes, we’ll give you a tour of our flagship case analysis tool. We’ll also demonstrate how CaseMap integrates with over a dozen other excellent litigation support products, including Adobe Acrobat. Even if you're a current CaseMap user, you may find this session a good recap of CaseMap basics. Click to register for one of our upcoming webinars. Starting in November, we'll be offering a CaseMap/TimeMap Overview Webinar every Wednesday at 1400 ET (-5 GMT) and a TimeMap Fundamentals session every Thursday at 1400 ET (-5 GMT). If you need an easy way to get others at your organization familiar with CaseMap or TimeMap, please have them attend one of these no-charge sessions. We're also working on a series of "Ten Minute Tutorials," brief prerecorded sessions on a host of training topics that you'll be able to review anytime you wish. 4. New Listserv for Paralegals & Legal Assistants We've just launched a new Paralegal & Legal Assistant Listserv. If you're a legal assistant or paralegal user of CaseMap or TimeMap, please join today -- we believe you'll find the listserv is a great way to get your questions answered and share ideas. In addition to member-generated postings, we post a Tip of the Week and each month a paralegal or legal assistant power user posts a longer article for your consideration. Members of the Paralegal & Legal Assistant Listserv also receive advance notice of Certification webinars. Announcing TextMap 2 & TextMap License Drawing We're hard at work on TextMap 2, an important new version of our award-winning transcript management utility that makes it easy to cull critical testimony from electronic transcripts and organize it in CaseMap. TextMap 2 will offer dozens of new features, including dramatically enhanced searching across all case transcripts. We expect to release TextMap 2 by the end of January 2005. Additional details about the new features in TextMap will appear in the November Client FYI email.
