Did you know? The American
Association for Paralegal Education (AAfPE) recently
announced that it endorses
LexisNexis® Total
Litigator—a single online destination
offering legal professionals the solutions they need to
seamlessly manage cases through each step of the litigation
process.
“Because
Total Litigator offers paralegals a single, integrated place
to access and use a variety of litigation support capabilities
needed to do their jobs,” said Professor Thomas Goldman, chair
of the Technology Task Force of AAfPE. “We believe it’s an
essential skill to include in today’s paralegal
education.”
The
announcement by AAfPE follows industry accolades from the
National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA®) and the
Defense Research Institute (DRI™).
The Total
Litigator platform offers legal professionals access to
e-discovery and electronic filing, case analysis and
assessment solutions. Featuring software and online services
such as CaseMap, Concordance®, lexis.com, File &
Serve and more, Total Litigator integrates access to these

Why
Not Take A Class From An Award-Winning Team?
We’re
pleased to announce the Case Analysis Consulting Group won the
Law Technology News—2007 Technology Award for Litigation
Support Consultant. Thanks to all of you who voted for us!
We aren’t
resting on our laurels. We’re holding classes around the
country and via Webinar. We’re still coming to your office to
train and/or consult specifically about your cases.
In March
and April we will be holding classes in Atlanta, New York, San
Francisco and Washington, D.C. Here is a link to our class
calendar covering our full range of training
opportunities—online and on the road:

More exciting news! Last year we
developed a new Webinar class specifically for paralegals. The
CaseMap Paralegal Certification focuses specifically
on the paralegals role in getting the most out of CaseMap. The
big news is, this year we are offering the class around the
country instead of just via Webinar.
Upcoming CaseMap Paralegal
Certification Classes:
Atlanta |
March 11 |
New
York |
March 19 |
San
Francisco |

Washington, D.C. |
April 10 |

Also this year we will be offering the
CaseMap 201 class. It is similar to the
Paralegal Certification class but is focused more for
all end users. You can be just starting out or using the
program for a while. It will help take you from an end user to
a power user.
Don’t
forget we offer all three of these classes plus two more via
Webinar. Just in case you can’t make it to a classroom, you
can still join us for class. We offer Becoming a CaseMap
Power User and Trainer Certification classes via
Webinar several times throughout the year.
Upcoming CaseMap Training Webinars:

We will
show you what you need to know to support CaseMap end users in
your office. Be sure to sign up early.
No
time or too busy to attend classes? No
problem. We can come to you! We can offer these
classes or custom agendas at your office as well. Many firms
have had us come to their office to conduct training, help
them get a specific case up and running or assist with an
existing case. Wouldn’t you enjoy having a CaseMap expert help
you set up or review your case file? Since you are working
specifically on a case, all learning gained from this
real-life application of knowledge could be happening during
billable hours.
If the
entire case team is in this session you will find everyone has
a clear picture of how your team is going to use CaseMap.
Often teams work out details as a group and get moving forward
much more rapidly than had they dived in without getting
organized first. Ok, some of you are in the middle of it—the
case. You need some help getting organized and moving forward
now. Not to worry, we do that too! Call your account
representative or the award-winning Case Analysis Consulting
Group to discuss your specific needs and goals.
You can
get more information about on-site assistance or sign up for
any of our classes by calling 904.273.5000 extension 228, or
email us at
caseanalysisconsulting@lexisnexis.com.
