Training
Opportunities for CaseMap at Your Place, Our Place or a
Virtual Place!
Our CaseMap Academy offers a multitude of
training options for your staff or your firm. Perhaps you or
your staff has attended training, but there maybe others in
your firm that could benefit from one of our convenient
options. We have onsite trainings or open enrollment classes
at convenient locations in selected cities, you’re invited to
visit us in sunny Florida or we present live, online training
options.
Please contact us at 866.848.1137 to discuss
any of these options or email info@casesoft.com.
Case Analysis Jump-start and Early
Case Assessment Consultation—Let one of our advanced
CaseMap Academy trainers visit you to assist in early case
analysis and assessment. In this daylong exercise, our trainer
acts as moderator guiding the session, as a scribe quickly
organizing material in CaseMap, and as an educator showing
your team how to take the ball forward utilizing Litigation
Services. By the time the session ends, we’ll have worked with
your trial team to create a detailed cast of characters, a
multi-level issue outline and an initial fact chronology. The
trial team will also have created a Case Summary ReportBook or
other work product for their client. And they’ll have a plan
in place for additional analysis.
Live Internet Advanced
Training—We’re offering “Deep Dive” Live Training
Webinars for users who want to get the most out of their
CaseMap tools. Sessions will be 75 – 90 minutes. Class sizes
will be limited to 15 and topics will be offered twice a
month. We’re charging a $99 per registrant fee for these
events given the nature of the content and the very limited
seats.
Register today for:
CaseMap/Acrobat/Bates Stamping
Integration 2:00 p.m. EST on December 27, January 10 or
January 24. To get questions answered or register for a
seat, please contact Sam Scaggs at sam.scaggs@lexisnexis.com
or 904-273-5000 x230.
This session will review tips and tricks for
getting the most out of the Send to CaseMap Plug-in for
Acrobat and will discuss best practices in file organization.
It will also review how the CaseMap PDF Bates Stamper can be
used to not only Bates Stamp batches of PDFs but to also
jumpstart creating a document index in CaseMap. This session
should be a great way to get you and your paralegal staff up
to speed with these productivity boosters!
Training at Your
Offices—One of our trainers can visit your offices to
provide in-person training for groups of end-users. In a day
of training, we can conduct a mixture of both basic and
advanced sessions. CaseSoft Academy
Open Enrollment Sessions—We hold fee-based open
enrollment classes in many cities around the country. There’s
a certification class for Litigation Support and IS

CaseMap/Worldox Integration & CaseMap/Acrobat 8
Integration Now Available
CaseMap/WORLDOX
Integration:
We have released a new “Send to CaseMap”
Utility that works with the popular WORLDOX Document
Management System (DMS). This is a fee-based utility as it’s
the result of a very lengthy development effort and will
require ongoing development and support work.
The “Send to CaseMap” Plug-in for WORLDOX
makes it easy to create new document records in CaseMap based
on documents being stored in WORLDOX. In addition to
automatically creating new document records in CaseMap based
on documents stored in WORLDOX, the Plug-in also links the
records created in CaseMap to the source documents stored in
WORLDOX. You can later display a linked document stored in
WORLDOX with one click in CaseMap. This new utility makes it
easy to leverage the value of both CaseMap and WORLDOX for
organizing key case documents. This new utility will work with
WORLDOX GX or higher.
CASEMAP 6 FOR ACROBAT 8 NOW
AVAILABLE
We’re pleased to announce the
release of a version of our CaseMap case analysis tool that
works with new Acrobat 8.
If you haven’t seen the
numerous tight integrations between CaseMap and Acrobat at
work, please write us at info@casesoft.com and
we’ll be glad to give you a quick tour over the
Internet.
If you already use CaseMap 6 and Acrobat
together, you can now upgrade to Acrobat 8 and then download
and install the updated version of CaseMap 6 that works with
Acrobat 8. To be sure we're being clear ... you need to
install Acrobat 8 first ... before you move to the new version
of CaseMap 6. You can download the new version of CaseMap 6
from www.casesoft.com.
The new version of
CaseMap doesn’t provide additional Acrobat-integration
functionality, but rather solves problems caused by changes
Adobe® made between Acrobat 7 and 8.
